At HMA Paving & Contracting we take pride in serving our community! Our 2022 projects have kept us busy all year long, and we couldn’t be happier with the results we achieved. This year, our expert team spent their days working on projects that included asphalt paving, milling, parking lot maintenance, custom paving, excavation, drainage solutions and more! We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite projects from the past few months.
Target
675 Troy Schenectady Road, Latham, NY 12110
We are so proud to have been chosen to provide paving solutions to the Latham Target! Our work began with the milling of existing pavement to grind down and remove the top layer of existing asphalt. Once removed, we installed a new layer of smooth and durable pavement. Our team then provided our line striping services to the newly paved lot to create defined parking spaces and coordinate traffic flow. For safety and ADA compliancy, we also installed new concrete sidewalks and ramps to restore their old walkways.
East Greenbush Central School District
Columbia Track and Field
Our HMA team was thrilled to be a part of the East Greenbush Central School District Columbia track and field project! East Greenbush wanted to revamp and restore their old track and its’ surrounding areas. Our team worked to remove the old paving of the track and the fields greenery. Once fully removed, we installed a new track surface and synthetic turf fields! Not only that, but we also re-paved the walkways alongside the track to ensure that the entire area was complete, as well as reworked the drainage solutions and retaining walls to keep the area dry and safe!
Adams Station Apartments
Apartment Complex in Delmar, NY
Our team was welcomed to Adams Station Apartments and got right to work! We focused on rebuilding two main parking lots by milling them down to the sub-base, regrading them, and then installing our type 3 dense binder. This binder creates a durable and long-lasting pavement. We also worked on four other parking lots that had previously been rebuilt by us in 2015! This large-scale project also included excavation work to expand one of the complexes parking lots, and drainage and excavation to prepare for a new garage. In addition to working on the parking lots, we also removed all sidewalks and dumpster pads, and repoured them to create safe new walkways for all residents.
